Rosette Ornaments

I wanted to create something small, cute and festive for some girls at work -- just a little something to dress up their desks. I'm in love with paper rosettes right now, so I made these ornaments using rosettes.

I used double-sided paper so both sides could be decorated. I also used paper punches for the top-layer rosettes and the snowflakes. I added ribbon, stickles and gems to dress them up a bit. They were really easy, and the girls at work loved them.

Holly Jolly Christmas

I remembered I had this paper with an adorable holly design, and I had to use it. I created a 6x6 card with an ornament cut from Simply Charmed.

Picture Perfect

I am so excited because today, my project is featured on Exploring Cricut. It is a great blog that provide a ton of inspiration for newbies like me. Head on over there to view great, creative projects.

For this project I created a picture frame to showcase a great holiday photo. I started off with a plain wooden frame from Hobby Lobby and painted it a color called Christmas Red. I thought that was the perfect name for this project.

I used Simply Charmed to cut the Santa, chimney and present. The year was cut using Alphalicious. After everything was on the frame, I added a layer of Mod Podge to seal it. I added festive ribbon and that was it.

This was a quick, simple project that would also be great as a gift.

Gotta Wear Shades

I wanted to create a simple thank you card, so I pulled out my Paisley cartridge. I really need to use it more; it has so many cute cuts.

I used pop dots on the sunglasses for a little dimension, added a little ribbon and a few gems, and that was it. Inside the card I stamped a simple Thank You.

Boy, oh Boy

My cousin just had a baby boy. Everyone is so excited, especially his two daughters. I made this card to include with the present I got him.

I used classic blue, which I'm sure he loves after all the girly things he is used to with his daughters. The bottle was cut with my Cricut using Simply Charmed.

Inside the card I stamped a simple sentiment.

Sprucing Up the Office

My mom recently moved into a new office building with typical boring cubicles. So she asked me to make her a name tag to put on her cubicle, just to pretty it up a little.

This is a really simple project, but it adds something special to boring office spaces.

I used green papers because that is her favorite color and cut her name using Alphalicious on my Cricut.

I had never made a paper rosette before, but it was really easy, especially using my Martha Stewart score board. I love the look of the rosettes, so I have to think of new projects to use them.

Because this is for an office, I wanted to make sure there wasn't going to be any problems attaching the tag, so I just used clips from an office supply store to attach it.

Warm Wishes

The holiday season is in full gear, so I need to step up the card-making. I created this card using the cute mittens and word feature from Simply Charmed.

I added some ribbon and bows, and kept it pretty simple with classic Christmas colors.
